Work with the Affiliate RM, Commercial client, Insurance agencies and companies to obtain proof that all properties have adequate coverage ensuring there is no risk of loss to the bank resulting from inadequate coverage on the collateral. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Responsible for maintaining proof that all types of insurance are maintained including flood, liability, property, wind & terrorism are maintained based on individual property values and investor requirements. * Maintain knowledge of changing requirements in the insurance industry to ensure that changes are addressed and each borrower adheres to any new requirements and maintains adequate coverage. * Work closely with major vendors, to ensure that all escrowed insurance payments are made in a timely manner so there is no lapse in coverage. * Ensure that forced place insurance is enacted timely & in accordance with Private Investor requirements, when there is a lapse in coverage. * Work with WNC to ensure that all flood insurance requirements are met and forced place flood insurance is enacted when required on loans serviced as part of the Bancorp CRE portfolio. * Review daily and monthly reports for insurance exceptions and delinquencies. * Resolve escalated insurance issues from internal and external customers, management and co-workers. * Liaison between department, Insurance providers, rating agencies Affiliate RM/PM and Private Investors. * Provide management reporting on status on any lapsed insurance and steps taken to ensure coverage is reinstated ensuring no loss to the Bancorp. * Assist direct manager with projects and other duties as assigned.
